Upcoming Event
Each May or June the Committee hosts an
Appellate Practice Seminar at the CMBA that
is approved by the OSBA’s Appellate Specialty
Board for specialty credit for those lawyers
seeking to become certified or who need
to maintain their Specialty Certification in
Appellate Law. Planning for the annual seminar
typically begins in January. Anyone interested
in serving on the planning committee for this
year’s seminar can contact Tim Fitzgerald for
information about meeting dates and times.
Recent Event
This past June, speakers at the Appellate Practice
Seminar included Justice Melody J. Stewart and
Justice Michael P. Donnelly from the Supreme
Health Care Law Update & Court of Ohio and featured a panel discussion of
Medical/Legal 8 District judges and appellate court personnel.
