Philosopher Herbert Spencer said, "No oil painting, sculpture, music, poetry, and all kinds of natural beauty caused by emotion, the joy

of life will lose half." Art creation is an outlet of emotions. Artists express themselves through works, understand their inner world, and bring
joy to life at the same time.
Lu Kuan-hui is a local female artist in Taichung. She is good at oil painting. Her works "advocate nature, but are not limited to nature."
The solo exhibition "Brilliant Universe" held at Dadun Cultural Center is a record of Lu Kuan-hui's growth and transformation during
the three years in the In-Service Master's Program of Tunghai University from 2021. With rich cultural literacy and exquisite skills, she is
fully dedicated to the breakthrough and innovation of painting and creates more heart-touching artworks. Through love and care for culture
and nature, the artist creates the beauty of heaven and earth, the goodness of the world, and the joy of life into her personal ideal world of
"imagery, modeling, and atmosphere."
In Lu Kuan-hui's solo exhibition of "Brilliant Universe," life exists everywhere. Her light of life lies in the inner essence of the

individual and the source of inspiration, with the positive and optimistic life energy that symbolizes hope, transformation, and new start.
Looking at Lu's works is like reading a poem. There is a painting in the poem, and a poem in the painting. Full of imagination, literariness,
and possibility, it allows the viewers to integrate the ideas of imagination and reality, illusion and existence, conflict and harmony. This
freehand romantic feeling is like a warm current. Everyone can see their life journey through Lu's works. It requires no words that this true
feeling can be deeply conveyed to everyone's heart. It is the original feeling of human nature, pure and beautiful.
Lu Kuan-hui has always made art her career. With the greatest enthusiasm and unremitting spirit, she inherits the Oriental imagery
and the Western abstract painting art and shows the brand-new visual aesthetics of abstract painting in the broader field of painting. We are

convinced that Ms. Lu's art creation will be well received. Here I write the foreword for her painting album and wish the exhibition a great
success.
