Cai, Rong-You
Mr. Cai studied ceramic skills from
renowned artist Prof. Qiu Huan-Tang
and glazing methods from another
prestigious artist, Prof. Lin Bao-Jia. He
was awarded permanent eligibility for the
Taiwan Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition,
and was chosen as part of the 21st Ten
Outstanding Young Men, as well as the
National Crafts Achievement Award
in 2011 and New Taipei City Ceramic
Achievement Award. He is the 4th
Chairperson of Taiwan Crafts Workshop,
and 3rd and 4th Chairperson of ROC
Traditional Craftsmen Association.
He is also the chairman of the Taiwan
Provincial Pottery Association and the
National Pottery Association.
