Lin, Jin-Long
Mr. Lin graduated from the Department of Fine
Arts at Tunghai University and received a master’s
degree from the Department of Fine Arts at National
Taiwan Normal University. His ink painting works
have earned many awards, including Third Prize at
the Arts Exhibition of Taiwan Central, two Awards of
Merit at the Taiwan Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition,
two short-listings at the Yushan Art Exhibition, an
Award of Merit at the Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of
Taichung City, and an excellent work at the Nanying
Art Exhibition. He retired as a high school art teacher
after teaching for a total of 28 years. In 2013, he was
registered in The Artist Archive of Taichung City. He
is now an ink painting lecturer at the Dadun Cultural
Center and the Fo Guang Shan Open University. He is
the founder and president of the Ink Dragon Painting
Society, member of the Ink Destiny Gathering, and
member of the Chinese Style Painting and Calligraphy
Association. He has spent over 30 years creating and
studying ink painting.
