                non-sulfur monosaccharide is a substrate.

                                                       Honey

Honey is saccharine substances produced from flower nectar by the worker bees.

It is produced by the action of invertase enzymes (in the honey sac of bees) on

sucrose. Bees hydrolyzes sucrose to fructose and glucose (1:1 ratio) in a process

              known as inversion of sugar.

              How Do Bees Make Honey?

Bees are the only insects which produce food for humans. The food the

honey bee produces is unique, good tasting, beneficial and nutricious. So, how

              does a bee make honey?

              • First, bees drink nectar from flowers using their long tongue. Their tongue

helps them to reach the nectar inside the flower.
