Meeting the all-time greats
Several lucky MIL staffers recently enjoyed an opportunity of
a sports fan’s lifetime! MIL guests had a chance to “meet and
greet” Rod Langway, retired Washington Capitals defenseman
and hockey Hall of Famer. Langway attend the February 11th
Capitals game against the Anaheim Ducks as he celebrated the
20th anniversary of his #15 jersey retirement by the Washington
Capitals. Langway was also inducted into the United States
Hockey Hall of Fame. His storied career culminated in his
election to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002, and his 2012
induction into the World Hockey Association Hall of Fame in the
“Legends of the Game” category.
Also, former NBA giant and Wizards ambassador Gheorghe
Mureșan stopped by the suite to greet our excited guests. By the
smiles on everyone’s faces, this visit to the MIL’s Verizon Center
skybox was one for the memory books for some very happy
MIL’ers!
We have several events, concerts, and shows lined up in the coming months so
continue to check your email for a chance to enter. In addition, we are excited
to announce that the newest AFL franchise, the Washington Valor, will kick
off in the 2017 season at Verizon Center next month! The first nine people to
email Communications@milcorp.com will win tickets to the May 13th game
against Tampa.
