Well-being at MIL
The HR Team at MIL focuses on creating a community culture that promotes happiness, health, and overall well-
being. We are happy to share that we have launched a new page to our SharePoint site that offers high-quality
trainings and workshops through our EAP partner aimed to cultivate engaged, productive, and less-stressed
employees sharing evidence-based best practices for the mind, body, and heart.
Three key actions—check in, learn more, and get support:
April is a great time to reach out to students and interns to see if they will return to
MIL for the summer!
1. Check in: Check in on your mental health and the mental health of those you care
about. Start a conversation to see how you can help or support yourself or others.
2. Learn more: Learn more about mental health needs and explore the self-care,
services, and support available to help find a path forward.
3. Get support: Get support for yourself or someone you care about by reaching out
and connecting with tools and resources available in your community.

breathe out for five, hold for five, and » Watch the sunrise or sunset
repeat
» Take a mental health day
» Do something creative like art, writing,
or music
» Call a friend you haven’t spoken with
in a while
Did you know?
Did you know lime green is the national color of mental health awareness? It
symbolizes the continual awareness of mental health to help fight the stigma that is
often associated with it. It can help start conversations with people who do not know
about the mental health movement. Put on a support ribbon or even a lime green
necktie. You can even decorate your workspace with lime green items or streamers.
