Wellness Tip
Staying healthy on the job is a daily challenge for most people on earth. That’s
why wellness tips for the workplace are so important. Our EAP has prepared
communications and employer resources on their website that should help with
future content development.

With COVID and other life events, let’s consider the impacts of just one enemy
of workplace wellness—stress—to demonstrate just how important it is to take
wellness seriously.
Stress can manifest as back pain, headaches, defensiveness, fatigue and
indecisiveness, which effects a staggering 83% of workers according to a recent
survey.
Focusing on wellness can be the antidote to workplace stress. Some wellness tips
for improving workplace stress are:
» Organize your workspace to get rid of clutter
» Take hourly stretch breaks (2-3 minutes)
» Listen to calming music
» Start a journal
» Stand up
If you continue to have work life stressors, don’t forget about the Employee
Assistance Program available for all MIL employees.
