New Hire Performance Reviews
The first three months at MIL most likely involves a steep learning curve as new hires become
familiar with the duties and expectations of their role, MIL’s company culture, and the client’s
culture. During this time, they are learning who to go to for help and what resources are available
to them. They are building professional relationships with their coworkers and our clients. The 90-
day review is an important milestone and checkpoint for the team member’s progress. Conducting
an effective 90-day review can increase productivity, increase your new hire’s desire to stay with
MIL, and help them reach their full potential at a quicker pace. A new hire review should evaluate
the employee’s performance during their first three months on the job. This includes how they’ve
progressed toward their goals, feedback on their performance, additional support they may need,
and a plan for continued development. Let’s highlight successful ways to prepare for and conduct
your new hire’s review.
