        MLK Day Parade

Each year, MIL Charleston seeks ways to give back to the community they support. This year, on
January 20th, our employees took the opportunity to represent MIL in honoring Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. in Charleston’s MLK Day Parade. With participants from CGFS and corporate leadership,
our employees walked and rode the parade route in celebration of Dr. King’s enormous impact on
winning civil liberties in America. While we strive as a company to foster internal diversity and
equality, taking the time to show the community who we are and what we represent goes a long way
in building relationships which foster business opportunities. More importantly, it adds one more
brick in the remaining bridges towards justice, social consciousness, equality, and the eradication of
racism. Thank you to everyone who walked, carried the banner, handed out the “church fans” (a big
crowd favorite by the way), and partnered the name “MIL” with the community’s memories of a day
filled with love, brotherhood, and the continued demand for a world where equality is everyone’s
        inalienable right.
