        Leading MIL to new heights

In 1980, as President and co-founder of MIL, I set out to create a premier government contracting organization that would not
only focus on the customer, but that would create an environment where employees would be valued and appreciated for their
individual and team contributions. And now, 44 years later, I’m so proud of what we have accomplished together. Through
thousands of engagements supporting the federal government, we are People Making the Difference. We have achieved every
goal I set and because of your contributions, we are a $180M company with a staff of 850 employees.
MIL is thriving and in order to continue this momentum, I decided to create new roles within our executive leadership team to
drive the expected growth in the coming years. I will continue to serve as MIL’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the
Board of Directors, with a focus on making high-level strategic decisions while monitoring company financial health.

Marisa Daley, current Chief Operating Officer, will step into the role of President, driving
all areas of growth and expansion for the firm. Marisa will continue leading Federal Civilian
delivery, Corporate Business Development, Proposals & Marketing, and Recruiting and will
now expand her oversight to include the Department of Defense Business Unit and Human
Resource Business Partners. This promotion reflects not only Marisa’s past accomplishments
but also my confidence in her ability to lead MIL to new heights.

While Marisa works to further integrate our client services and growth strategies,
Joel Melville, current VP of Administration, will become MIL’s Chief Administrative Officer.
He is tasked with ensuring corporate operations have the resources, processes, and procedures
in place to support our continued growth. In addition to managing Security, IT, and HR
Operations, Joel will assume oversight of Finance, Contracts, and Pricing. Joel’s ability to
navigate challenges and seize opportunities has been instrumental in our achievements and I
know he will continue to improve on operational efficiencies in this new role.

As MIL continues to expand, I am energized by the road ahead. I will continue to set ambitious
goals because I trust that as a team, we can deliver. Please join me in congratulating Marisa and
Joel and I look forward to seeing their exceptional leadership in action in their new roles.
                                    Best Regards,
                                    Butch Long

                                                                                             contract wins

Library of Congress expands service desk contract

MIL was recently awarded a contract modification to the ITS Sector’s Library of Congress
Service Desk contract. This mod adds work to provide dedicated support for the Congressional
Research Service division of the Library. MIL will be tasked with providing highly responsive,
executive style support for staff who provide research assistance directly to members of
        Congress and congressional staff.
Congrats to the entire Library of Congress support team whose superior service made this
        contract expansion happen.
