The Post Corona Period will have to manage the
education tasks keeping social distance in which
physical presence will not be mandatory. Self -
Learning mode will be activated among the
present generation of students where the
challange on the part of teachers' will be to
provide and guide the students for appropriate
audio/video/text material and the students, after
going through the material, will raise their
doubts online. The teacher will have to engage
them personally for their respective doubts.
Flipped learning will be the need of the time in
post corona period.

Pandemic has made us realise that online
learning is as important as class room teaching.
In future, we can analyse the available online
courses from various international institutes and
companies, and try to design academic courses
to overcome the technical gaps via class room
teaching. Academic professionals can use this
online courses as study material and utilise their
time in delivering practical education by
conducting hands-on projects and laboratory
sessions. This will help in imparting students
with application-based and practical knowledge
required for industry professionals.

The ICT tools/technologies and different media
platforms have great use in pedagogic process.
We are left with no option other than using these
under the COVID-19 Pandemic scenario.
However, under normal circumstances, these
tools and platforms should be used only to
enhance the capacity of direct teaching and
learning process rather than to replace it. For the
all round development of the child, physical
presence of father, mother and teacher is a must.
Besides, one should not only go for indigenously
developed tools but also assure its access to
every member of the student community.

Online platform can be used to teach theory,
practical, do projects and researches of some
subjects. But theory and practical of some
subjects, projects and research require offline
platform and the students associated should be
taught in the University. Physical distance can be
maintained by increasing the teacher to student
ratio. Some infrastructure that will remain
unutilized due to online education, can be used
for arranging offline classes to maintain physical
distancing. Examination should be conducted
faculty wise in rotation by proper utilization of
infrastructure.

Academics involve research, teaching and
administration. Later two can be carried out on
digital platform. But how to carry out research
component? Both students and Teachers should
be able to design experiments at will and
anywhere. This is possible only after inculcating
observation skill. For this scientific phenomena
should be taught by how to carry out experiments
in 1000 ways, not limiting to only successful. One
can take various learning platforms for this
around us-toys, electronic gadgets, gardening,
culinary in kitchen. Scientifically active student
possibly become Entrepreneur.

Presently, we all are passing through COVID19
pandemic and it has affected education. I would
suggest maximum use of Massive Open Online
Courses, Open Educational Resources and
Learning Management Systems will be a part of
new Teaching Learning Pedagogy. Further
faculties can develop the content using Video
Recording Software and share to students'/
learning community via Video Meeting / on online
platforms. Students can learn curriculum as well
as specific course required for acquiring skills
and knowledge from these web portals. i.e.
Swayam, NP T EL, UGCMOOC, NDL, E-
PGPathshala, E-Pathshala.

Visual Demo and all wet lab work later.
Restructuring & use of flexible timings can
end up delivering MORE.

Each faculty of MSU should start Webinar for
Students or for faculties and experts should be
Alumni of MSU itself. This will increase
collaboration between Alumni and Faulty / Staff /
Students. Online Webinar could be on Topic
relevant to faculty, Technology, Recent Trends in
Market / Industry, Subject etc. This will help to
increase knowledge of Students / Staff as well. It
will be a Good utilization of time as well there will
be no restriction on dates as all are at home.
Each Head / Professors / Co-coordinators
should be given responsibility to arrange at-
least 1 session from field experts.

Academics will change drastically after
pandemic COVID-19. There was aggressive
national campaign to bring computers and the
internet to schools, but lockdown taught us that
teaching can be done through virtual mode as
well. Webinars and online conferences will be
taken by teachers as a part of their training. Most
of the meetings will go online to maintain social
distancing for very long. While there will be
always be a need of physical presence advanced
ICT will create a newer form of decentralized
organization that will continue to change the
nature of work. It will also help egophobic
students find space of interaction with teachers,
virtual classes will be good opportunities for
students who used to get distracted by
mischievous student's pranks. The role of
teacher will change from authority figure with all
information to one-to-one educational coach,
one-teacher-one student paradigm will remain
the most effective.

The future of education today is Blended
Learning ”the new normal” of tomorrow. The
blended learning approach which combines
online teaching- learning with the traditional
face to face classroom interactions would
engage learners like never before. However, a
large part of the curriculum that would be
transacted online would need to ensure that it
promotes self-learning and develops high-order
thinking skills. The face to face mode is a critical
component which would focus on teaching the
skills of application, analysis and creation, at the
same time taking care to connect the learners
socially and emotionally. The examination
pattern would change, making way for the open
book exams which learners could take at home.
Capacity building of faculty members is the need
of the hour.
