                  Pharmacodynamics

Pharmacodynamics refers to the relationship between the drug concentration at the

site of action (receptor) and pharmacologic response, including biochemical and

physiologic effects that influence the interaction of the drug with the receptor.

It is the study of the biological and therapeutic effects of the drugs.

Pharmacodynamics is the major concern of pharmacology and clinical
                             pharmacology.

                  Sites of drug administration

Sites of drug administration are classified into two categories:

                  • Intravascular routes • Extravascular routes.
