Are centralized systems insecure
                        and untrustworthy?


          In early 2018, Christopher Wylie, a former employee
          of Cambridge Analytica,l exposed how this company
          had harvested the personal data of 87 million people
          from Facebook. Cambridge Analytical processed
          these data, sold it to politicians and used it to
          influence elections by manipulating people on
          Facebook. To perform this crime, Cambridge
          Analytical only needed to get access to 305,000
          Facebook users through which they got access to
          their friends.


          In the past, the most valuable companies were Oil
          and Energy companies. However, the past decade has
          seen Tech companies slowly take the top spot. The
          ability of tech companies to build what people need
          and their efficient methods of collecting user data has
          made them build billion-dollar ecosystems.


          Big firms like Google, Amazon, etc., are raking in the
          billions yearly because they have unlimited access to
          the data we produce daily. Their "free" platforms
          have proven to be Trojan Horses, tools through
