which these platforms harvest data. They sell our data
to advertisers and make a ton of money out of it.
They use it as they like and we have no control over
how they use it. Despite making huge profits from
our data, these companies are giving back little value
to the people that drive this growth. It is very
disturbing that the users are unaware of the value of
their data and do not share in the wealth gotten from
it. There has to be a better way.
The most valuable asset on earth is now data.

Analytica and its use of Facebook data kickstarted a
privacy reckoning that is still playing out across the
tech industry. Talk about GDPR. But it's not only
privacy, and data ownership and control that we
should be concerned about. There's more.
The digital age is here, and things are rapidly
changing. The fourth industrial revolution is upon us
and technologies like AI and IoT are coming swiftly.
The current system will not suffice for such
technologies. Data alteration (by insider
administrators), hacks, personal data leaks, identity
