Your Car, Your Choice
Your car is your property. When
using your car for transport services,
you can specify what you will and
will not permit inside your car, such
as whether customers may eat or
drink. It is important to provide this
information to your Coordinator when
you give your work availability, to assist
them to refer appropriate transport
services to you.
Working for Just Better Care Please note that assistance animals
such as guide dogs are permitted. This
information will be provided to you
when the service is rostered to you.
If you have any concerns, contact
your Coordinator.
Your Car, Your Workplace
When transporting customers, your
car represents Just Better Care. You
must hold a current driver licence and
notify the office of any changes to
licence conditions immediately.
Note­ —Staff members should hold
a current full and unrestricted
driver licence when performing
transport services for customers
(unless they have been provided with
authorisation from their office and
the restricted licence is allowable
in accordance with legislative
requirements and/or program-
specific guidelines (e.g. NDIS).
Staff must have current
registration and compulsory third
party insurance, and provide
documentation upon renewal.
