This term we have focused on Diffusion, Osmosis and Cells. It is
important that you have a good understanding of these three areas,

but specifically Cells as it covers a large area of the GCSE syllabus.

Much of the work has been covered online using
the Everlearner which is free until September, so it will be well

worth making the most of this resource.

As we move into year 10 we will move on to study the fundamental

biological processes that enable us as humans to survive. Our bodies

need to acquire energy and building materials to run and grow, as well
as how to defend ourselves from disease organisms.

For the summer programme, I have included some tasks that will help

you catch up on anything you missed out on, or found difficult, during
the term.

For those pupils who managed to complete all the assignments, have a

great summer break. You could use this opportunity to follow the news
on how biological research is trying to solve the covid19 pandemic.
