• Hi soon-to-be year 7s, and welcome to

Secondary school! How are you feeling
about coming up into big school? Excited?

Scared? Never mind, here are a few ideas of
things you could have a go at to help you get
ready for September, and perhaps feel a

little better about it! Here’s a BIG tip! One of
the most important things in studying

history, is to read things very carefully and
thoroughly! It is worth spending a bit of time

on it, and even going back and reading
things again and even again, if you are not

sure about something! So have a go at
reading the pages provided and see what
you think. You probably know quite a bit of

this already! Then have a go at doing the
tasks in the blue box. Good luck!
