level). In 3-5 Math: Strengths: The strongest domain 3rd – 5th is Algebra & Algebraic
Thinking; All students are diligent in knowing when to spend time working on the
iReady platform. There was 100% usage of iReady since December when it was first
introduced; 3rd – 5th teachers have received professional development on the
current Ready Classroom platform. Weaknesses: The weakest domain 3rd – 5th is
geometry. 92% of 3rd-5th grade students were below grade level. (Tier II & Tier III).
We have 20 students (50%) that will need strategic intervention at the beginning of
the school year. There are 8 kids in the 3rd grade, 6 kids in the 4th grade, and 6 kids
in the 5th grade that will need this intervention. In the area of Culture and Climate,
enrollment has decreased; School A-F Report Card decreased from 89 to 87;
Student Chronic Absenteeism decreased by 2%; Student Suspensions decreased by
2%; Teachers receiving observations increased by 7%. From Parent Surveys, When
asked to select four phrases that best describe the things teachers say to students,
the top four choices were “We will be working on” (71%), “You got it right” (64%),

select four phrases that best describe the things students are most often doing
while at school, the top four selections were “Listening to teacher (82%), Thinking
(51%), Writing (42%), and working with others” (39%).When asked to select four
words that best describe parental interaction with the staff, the top four selections
were Respectful (71%), Supportive (68%), Helpful (67%), and Comfortable (45%).
From Employee Engagement Survey, 94% of employees agree administration
provides feedback concerning areas for improving their performance. When asked
what could be improved, employee statements included the physical condition of
the school, time to collaborate with colleagues other than after school, and more
technology.When asked what is working well, employee statements included the
establishment of systems, process, and expectations school wide, communication,
and common goals. From Student Survey, When asked to select four words or
phrases that best describe their teachers, the top four student responses were
Caring (91%), Fun (86%), Honest (85%), and Active (78%). When asked to select four
words or phrases that describe what students most often do in class, the top four
student responses were Listen to teachers (74%), Think (58%), Complete worksheets
(58%), and Write (53%). When asked to select four words or phrases that describe
how students feel at school, the top four student responses were Happy (68%),
Challenged (59%), Excited (47%), and Interested (42%). In the area of Attendance,
Strengths: 398 tardies/130 days = 2.5 people tardy per day *considering interstate
construction for 1 year over ½ of staff travels I-59, tardies seem average for size of
staff. According to SAR, the % of chronically absent students dropped 2% on the
March inspection. Weaknesses: Large number of sick days – 598.5 (2 maternity
leaves; 5+ bereavement/ill-parent; 8 Major & emergency surgery; Numerous
flu/”covid” related); Certain Student tardies are high and need to be addressed: (10
