         A CELADON JADE
         CEREMONIAL
         DAGGER-AXE, GE
         SHANG DYNASTY
         (C. 1600-1100 BC)
         The blade is thinly carved in ge form with
         a pointed tip. Both sides are curved down
         in slightly different arcs. There is a subtle
         median ridge and the edges are bevelled.
         Two drill holes are located at the centre.
