dragon-head terminals, with large bulbous eyes and
ruyi-shaped noses.

WITH GOLD-MOUNTED COVER
15th century
The baluster body rising from a short spreading
foot to a waisted neck and galleried rim, carved
with a loop handle opposite an upright spout,
decorated with a band of ruyi at the shoulders, with
further stylised scrolls at the bottom of the handle
and spout, the domed cover embellished with
ruyi decorated gold, the stone of semi-translucent
greyish brown tone, fitted box.
