           A LARGE MOTHER-OF-PEARL-INLAID
           LACQUER LOW TABLE, KANG
           Mid/Late Ming Dynasty
           The rectangular table with a flat top and a recessed
           galleried section with a lobed apron below,
           supported on four short curling legs ending in curled
           feet with painted spheres and circular pad feet, inlaid
           all over with mother-of-pearl designs, the top with a
           garden scene depicting a group of sages admiring
           a scroll painting besides a pavilion surrounded by
           pine trees, bamboo and jagged rocks, all below a
           constricted and reticulated waist set above a sloping
           apron inlaid with six shaped cartouches depicting
           scholars admiring gardens.
           94cm (37in) wide x 45cm (17 5/8in) deep x 24.5cm
           (9 1/2in) high.

           A LARGE BRONZE PEAR-SHAPED VASE, HU
           Song/Ming Dynasty
           The broad pear-shaped body flanked by stylised
           dragon head and stout ring handles, the body cast
           with three registers of undulating cusped tri-linear
           designs enclosing taotie and archaistic motifs on
           leiwen grounds.
           48.5cm (19.1/8in) high.
