         A FINE AND RARE RU-TYPE GLAZED
         GARLIC-MOUTH VASE
         QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE
         AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
         The vase is potted with a pear-shaped body rising to a long waisted
         neck flaring up to a garlic-shaped mouth, moulded with two raised
         bands on the neck, covered inside and out with a broadly crackled
         glaze of bluish-grey tone. The mouth and foot are dressed brown.
