A RARE LARGE WHITE-GLAZED BOWL
JIAJING SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF
THE PERIOD (1522-1566)
The bowl is heavily potted with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a flaring
rim. The interior and exterior are covered with a transparent glaze, with a slight pale
greenish tone stopping neatly around the foot.
