The square columnar seal is surmounted by a finely carved openwork finial 印文
depicting a pair of chilong playfully grasping lingzhi fungus in their mouths. The seal
face is carved with a four-character inscription in seal script in intaglio, Jidetang bao,
‘Treasure of Hall of Perpetuating Righteousness’.
