A SUPERB BLUE AND WHITE ‘DRAGON’ While similar Wanli-marked blue and white lobed basins are known,
it is very rare to find one with the current pattern in hexafoil form.
HEXAFOIL BASIN Only one other example with this combination appears to have been
published, which is from the Chang Foundation and illustrated in
WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A Selected Ceramics from Han to Qing Dynasties, Taipei, 1990, pl. 104.
Other blue and white examples, all in cinquefoil form, include one

2010 年 7 月 7 日拍賣,拍品 651 號;另有兩件盆心飾單隻五爪龍的例子,一
為靜觀堂舊藏,1997 年 9 月 18 日於紐約佳士得拍賣,拍品 152 號,另
明萬曆 青花雙龍戲珠花口洗 雙圈六字楷書款 一件則在香港蘇富比 2008 年 4 月 11 日拍賣,拍品 2936 號。
來源 至於萬曆的五彩花口洗中,可與兩件龍鳳紋六瓣洗相比較。一件載於
日本私人珍藏,2010年10月購自尚雅堂 《日本陶磁:出光美術館藏品圖錄》,1987 年,圖版 753 號;一件
則為東京國立博物館藏品,見《Oriental Ceramics: The World's Great
Collections》,卷 11,東京,1982 年,圖版 77 號;而靜觀堂舊藏中亦有
一件五彩單龍穿花葵瓣式洗,曾於紐約佳士得 1997 年 3 月 20 日拍賣,
拍品 89 號。
