A WHITE JADE MUGHAL-STYLE BOX AND
COVER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The shallow box of floral form is carved with lobed sides and the
interior divided into four compartments. It is decorated to the
underside with a flower head forming the base. The cover is of
conforming shape surmounted by a floral bud finial. The semi-
translucent stone is of an attractive milky white tone.
