A PAIR OF SMALL MOLDED
LONGQUAN CELADON
PEAR-SHAPED VASES
YUAN-MING DYNASTY (1279-1644)
Each vase is molded with peony scroll within ruyi-shaped panels on the
body and fanked by a pair of applied fxed-ring handles at the neck and
shoulder below the faring mouth. Each vase is covered overall with an
olive-green glaze.
