BURNER, DING
Shisou two-character mark, Qing Dynasty
The globular body cast with keyfret, whorls and scrolling
motifs, embellished with foliate designs in silver wire
inlay, raised on three high legs also inlaid, with reticulated
hardwood lid and foliate stand.

Qing Dynasty
Cast and carved to the neck and body with a design of
butterflies alighting over a meander of scrolling leafy lotus,
the bulging mouth with a key-fret band, the shoulder with
a formal cloud collar.
