Qing Dynasty
The first two-part buckle cast with panels
of flower heads, joined with a ruyi-head
hook and C-scroll loop; the second cast in
openwork with two confronted chilong biting
lingzhi stems, the hook formed as a dragon
head.
Each approx. 8.9cm (3 1/2in) wide (4).

head hook and loop, the oval plaques with a
reticulated cash diaper design; the second
two-part clasp cleverly combining to form a
continuous basket-weave pattern.

A gilt-metal key-wind goliath
pocket watch for the Chinese
market
18th century
The pair-cased watch of fusee verge
movement, each of the dual white enamel
dials with Roman numerals and paired ‘beetle
and poker’ handles, the inner and outer case
both gilded, the bezel inset with a green,
white and red paste stone set.
