A rare pair of Chinese carved wood figures of seated monks
song/yuan dynasty
both figures seated in dhyanasana, one with right hand in
vitarka mudra and left hand in dhyanamudra, the other with
hands in dhyanamudra, remnants of polychrome, with fitted
stands.
