A CARVED CINNABAR LACQUER CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER 清十八世紀 剔紅五蝠捧壽圓蓋盒

The gently domed cover has a central fat raised medallion carved with a
central shou-symbol surrounded by fve bats on a scroll ground, surrounded
by a band of lotus scroll. The box is carved with a frieze of peony scroll. The
interior and recessed base are lacquered black.
