The heavily potted dish is decorated to the centre in varying tones of cobalt (mark)
blue with two birds perched on the branches of a fruiting peach tree, 明嘉靖 青花瑞果大盤 六字楷書款
surrounded by branches of peach, chrysanthemum, pomegranate and peony.
