           simulating bamboo construction, the rectangular top with
           inset soft-mat seat, supported on thick straight legs of circular
           section, the humpbacked stretchers wrapping around the
           exterior of the legs suggestive of pliant bamboo, connected on
           the sides by two vertical struts to the cushion-moulded apron
