heavily cast with a compressed globular body rising to a
stepped neck, supported on three stout cabriole legs issuing
from heads of mythical beasts, flanked by a pair of tall
S-shaped handles issuing from the shoulder, decorated in low-
relief around the neck with a band of taotie masks against a
leiwen ground, the body wrapped in a border of cicada blades
66.3 cm, 26⅛ in.
