‘PEACH’ CARVING
㶭 湫 QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
⋩ 䌱 the spherical fruit with a short leaÞ ng stem, the leaves carved
ḅ 晽 in high relief and curling at the edges, a bat carved in low relief
ᶾ 䤷 clinging to the lower half of the peach, the warm yellow stone
