Late 18th century
The Queen Mother of the West stands upright, her
coiffure finely carved and dressed in a long robe,
holding a peach branch in her right hand and a
Chinese-style stiff fan in her left.

Bare-chested, with a raised head and grabbing her
long billowing shawl, a bird-shaped ornament in
front of the chignon. Signed Hômei in an oval
