The pendant is carved in the round depicting a young boy seated
astride a double-gourd growing from leafy vines while one hand
clutches a ruyi supported over the shoulder. The semi-translucent
stone is of an even white tone.

pendant
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The pendant is carved as a monkey seated astride a large lingzhi
encircled by leafy tendrils and further lingzhi sprays. The semi-
translucent stone is of an even white tone.

A WHITE JADE ‘DEER’ pendant
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The pendant is finely carved as a recumbent stag and doe shown
side by side, as both grasp in their mouths a trailing, leafy stem of a
flower. The semi-translucent stone is of an even white tone.
