A YELLOW JADE ‘FOREIGNER AND LION’

QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The stone is carved in the round depicting a foreigner wearing a
pointed cap teasing a lion with a tasseled brocade ball, carrying a
ruyi on his back. The yellow stone has a slight greenish undertone
with pale russet inclusions.
