AN ALOESWOOD AND CORAL ROSARY
BRACELET, SHOU CHUAN
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The bracelet comprises eighteen large aloeswood, or chenxiang,
beads evenly divided by a larger coral bead carved in openwork to
depict two sinuous dragons, opposite a two-part double gourd-
form coral pendant suspending two tourmaline beads.
