Each vase has a flat underside and integral stand and is painted in 懷親閣，呂樹英 （1919-2000）
gilt with sprays of lotus borne on tendrils, between ruyi-heads at
the mouth and petal lappets around the foot. The base is covered
under a transparent glaze.
