This huanghuali wood box is made in imitation of a tixi lacquer 器仿剔犀雲紋。蓋、底皆作三組雙雲紋，器形古樸高雅，刀法精細明快，
box with cloud scroll design. Both the cover and base are carved 線條流暢圓潤，盒底子口十分高，密合度極佳，確保香氣不外洩。
with three double cloud scrolls. The overall design is imbued
with an archaic elegance, and the carving is exquisite and crisply
done. The lines are remarkably spontaneous and fluid. The cover
fits tightly against the high lip of the box, a necessary feature to
prevent the leakage of fragrance of the stored incense.
