A green jade incense burner and cover
18th/19th century
The compressed body supported on a short splayed foot flanked by a
pair of mythical-beast ring handles, the body delicately carved with a
wide frieze of stylised taotie masks, the domed cover similarly decorated
and surmounted by an openwork coiled dragon finial, the softly-polished
stone of green tone, wood stand, box.
