A sang-de-boeuf-glazed bottle vase
18th century
The bulbous body and slender neck covered
with a rich red glaze thinning over the neck
and pooling towards the base, stopping neatly
at the foot, the mouth decorated in green and
black enamel with a delicate band of flowers
between two leaves above a narrow band of
pendent lappets.
