A rare blanc-de-chine ‘dragon’ snuff bottle London, 14 June 1971, lot 102, where it is noted that this snuff
18th/19th century bottle is reputed to have been taken by the Christian General Feng
Of compressed bulbous form rising to a tall cylindrical neck, Yuxiang’s army from the tomb of the Dowager Empress Cixi, and
extremely delicately modelled in high relief with at least seven purchased in Beijing between 1922 and 1925.
