A fine agate snuff bottle
215 18th/19th century
240 | Bonhams The translucent stone of flattened, rounded form, resting on an oval foot
inscribed with a han character in seal script, simply carved on each side
with a plain circular panel, the narrow sides with undecorated elongated
ovoid panels, hardstone stopper.

A carnelian ‘peach’ snuff bottle
19th century
The elegant bottle of pink-orange tone in the form of a peach, carved in
various relief with a gnarled leafy branch bearing a smaller peach at the
shoulder and a butterfly on the other side, coral stopper.
