Heavily cast with a wide flaring neck, animal heads in raised relief on
the shoulder, projecting flanges on the body separating taotie masks
and on the flared foot separating pairs of facing long-tailed birds
(surface soiling, wear).

A BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER WITH WOOD COVER AND STAND
Qing Dynasty
Cast with U-form handles rising from the rim and two bands of
decorations featuring dragons above stylized phoenix around the
curving walls, each band separated with projecting flanges that
repeat on decorative bands at the top of the three tall legs (surface
wear, dents); with fitted wood stand and reticulated wood cover
topped by a hardstone finial.

A PAIR OF BRONZE JUE-FORM WALL VASES
Republic period
Each of pieced construction, displaying a pair of cloud-patterned
posts rising behind the flared rim, the elongated body applied with
raised bosses above and below a gilt metal horizontal band set
behind xuangxi and shou medallions amid cloud scrolls in raised
relief, the arching handle of dragon form and the three legs issuing
from qilin heads (weathering to patina).
