A SMALL CAST BRONZE LIDDED VESSEL, HU as a pear-shaped vase all raised upon three beast heads forming the
Han dynasty feet.
Of square section with a pair of animal head and loose ring handles 13 1/4in (33.6cm) high
applied to the elongated bombé walls raised on a tall canted foot, the
conforming cover also topped with a metal ring as the handle (losses, US$800 - 1,200

and loop handles with cicada shaped reserves descending on the
body walls (wear); the smaller vase of gu-form with projecting flanges US$1,200 - 1,800
at the corners and kui dragons set against leiwen diaper panels, stiff
leaf patterns rising up the trumpet neck (wear and weathering).
