AN ASSEMBLED GROUP OF POLYCHROME ENAMELED SILVER BUDDHIST ALTAR
ORNAMENTS AND A STUPA
Late Qing/Republic period
Including a set of Eight Budddhist emblems and a pair of seated Buddhist figures, each rising
from a lotus flower supported on a leafy stem rising from a bell shaped base trimmed with
further lotus petals, the base of each stamped with two characters reading rong he; and a
miniature stupa fronted with removable frame containing an image of a seated Buddha, the
underside of the stupa base stamped with two characters reading zhen ru (all with wear to
enamels, oxidation to the silver). [11]
