PLAQUES
Late Qing/Republic period
Including a pair of convex circular shape reticulated to depict
possibly the characters from Journey to the West; the third of similar
shape reticulated to depict unidentified figures and flora beneath an
inscription reading jinshan, bearing impressed makers’ marks to the
rear reading Yu Ji; the fourth and fifth a pair of elaborately rendered
convex butterfly plaques; the sixth a butterfly covered in blue and
green enamels.

A GROUP OF TEN SILVER HAIRPINS
Qing dynasty
The first two similarly designed as a slightly concave and attenuated
rectangle adorned in repousse auspicious motifs and terminating in
semi-precious cabochon inlaid cylinders; the third a smaller example
of similar shape without cabochons; the fourth of similar design but
adorned in raised yellow and blue enameled protrusions; the fifth,
sixth and seventh needle-like examples terminating in elaborately
reticulated finials one of which bearing a maker’s mark reading [yu?]
bao; the last three of ‘double-spoon’ shape hammered in floral and
shou-character motifs, bearing makers’ marks reading [zhao?] he,
kun li, and sheng xiang.

A GROUP OF SIX SILVER LOCKS AND NECKLACES
Qing dynasty
Five of the locks of ruyi shape adorned in repoussé figural decoration
and auspicious inscription, in some cases suspended within
elaborately adorned chain links of additional decorative elements, the
sixth of rectangular shape suspended from a curved metal band and
impressed with a maker’s mark reading yonghe xiang.
